Poker Aces references two aces being dealt pre-flop. It is the strongest possible before theflop hand inTexas Holdem Poker. But despite this a good many bettors find themselves on the losing end when dealt these cards.
When you are dealt a set of Aces, you just don’t fold before theflop. You are sitting with the best possible hand at this part of the round. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I would say no to that.
Remember, you’re looking to acquire as much money from this strong position. You want to maximize the possibility. Going all-in will basically scare most gamblers into dropping out before laying a wager.
If you’re in the initial seat (1st or 2nd to place a wager), you’ll lay a single wager. Anyone with a good hand will call, hopefully a person might raise. If someone has made a raise don’t jump to re-raise or call, wait for a small bit – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
After the flop your plan will be to eliminate anybody that might be able to build a straight or a flush. So I would start to raise boldly, if you are lucky you will fool 1 player into thinking that you are faking it.
If you are in the center or late position (one of the last to wager) you will observe as everyone calls and then raise. Even with you sitting with a pair of aces, if possible try to avoid a show-down. Protect your hand by forcing the other players fold following the flop. If you don’t get rid of your competition you risk squandering your hand.
